ICAE
ICAE, formed in 1973, is the main global network promoting Youth and Adult Education and Learning and doing advocacy for the right to learn of young people and adults. It provides support and operates as a link for cooperation and solidarity among national and regional networks. While supporting capacity building for non-governmental agencies in the area of Youth and Adult Learning -in line with objectives 3 and 4 of EFA (Education for All)- it also plays a role in development processes in the South.
ICAE represents more than 800 organizations in 70 countries working on the promotion of the right to learn, literacy, youth and adult education and lifelong learning.
