Sara Longwe to moderate the opening ceremony

Sara Longwe from Zambia who is representing FEMNET in the Executive Committee of ICAE will moderate the opening ceremony of the VIII ICAE World Assembly. The session will start with a musical presentation called “From Swedish Folk Music to World Music”.  There will inaugural words from Britten Månsson-Wallin, secretary general of Folkbildningsrådet, Celita Eccher, secretary general of ICAE, Ilmar Reepalum mayor of Malmö, Halldor Asgrimsson, secretary general of the Nordic Council of Ministers, Erik Svensson representative from the European Economic and Social Council, Sue Waddington president of EAEA, Adama Ouane ex-director of UNESCO Institute of Lifelong Learning and Maria Simon, vice-president of ministry of education and culture, Uruguay.
